A FAITH STATEMENT

Harundale Presbyterian Church exists to gather people to praise God in response to the manifold gifts of God’s grace. All who surround the Lord’s Table are nourished, sustained and empowered to offer hospitality to the stranger, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless and encourage the forsaken. All who hear the Word preached learn what it means to be loved by God and how to go out into the world to teach all that Christ Commands. The waters of our common baptism remind us of our need to repent of our wayward ways and seek Christ’s reconciliation for ourselves, the community, nation and world. Leaning upon and learning from each other, we go forth to serve as members of Christ’s body: children, youth, women, men; in the world but not of the world, secular but conditioned by the sacred, earthly but ruled by heaven. In all we do may God be given the glory and honor!

(Adopted by the Session June 28, 1998)

A MISSION STATEMENT

We are called by Jesus and led by the Holy Spirit to reach out to God's people in crisis.  With our commitment of love, compassion and servanthood, we can empower God's people to improve their circumstances.

(Adopted by the Session April 27, 1998)
