Habitat For Humanity

This mission program includes working Saturdays on site, learning building skill landscaping, painting and other home building techniques.  HPC also provides lunches at the work site, which can include the participation of our youth. This is a terrific opportunity to meet and work with other congregations in our community toward a common good.  Participants are able to work with and meet the homeowner who works on their own home to earn sweat equity hours, an essential part of the homeownership program with Habitat.   This is a rewarding experience for all who choose to redefine their Saturday and often find themselves coming back Saturday after Saturday.
