The Reverend Tracey Davenport
Rev. Tracey was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in a military family (her father was a Naval aviator and flight instructor) living all over the United States. She attended Baylor and George Mason Universities where she received a BS in Nursing. She worked at Georgetown University for a short while following graduation and then moved to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX serving as a nurse in the liver and kidney transplant unit.
Recognizing that her true calling was for ordained ministry, Tracey and her husband Jack moved to Austin, TX where she attended Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Following graduation and ordination, Tracey has served as an Associate Pastor in San Angelo, Texas, then as Pastor of her own congregation in Georgia. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry Program at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Tracey and Jack were married in 1989. Jack is a software engineer and an Elder in the PC (USA). They love watching movies and traveling together. They have two daughters. Taylor is 14, and loves to play fast pitch softball for her school. Alia, who is 9, loves to sing, dance, and swim. The family also has two little dogs, Sadie and Sweetie.
