Listed below is our schedule for the kids, along with the age groups and times.

KIDDIE KORNER and Play Time (Ages 3 - 5) (5:00 - 5:30) Room 3

This activity and game period provides a "warm-up" to get the little ones ready to sing. Very popular -- they have a great time!

MUSIC TIME  (1st - 5th grade) (5:00 - 5:30) Meet in the lounge

These singers meet in the lounge to learn uplifting, fun music; a great opportunity to participate in worship.

KIDS FOR CHRIST I and KIDS FOR CHRIST II

(Gr. 1 - 3) (5:30 - 6:00) Meet in room 7
(Gr. 4 - 5) (5:30 - 6:00) Meet in room 9

These educational programs teach Christian values through crafts and experiments. We are using a “hands on" curriculum, with emphasis on fun while learning.

MUSIC TIME  (Ages 3, 4,5) (5:30 - 6:00)

Younger singers learn to have fun with music.

GATHERING TIME  - 6:00

Everyone gathers for dinner in the fellowship hall

DINNER FOR $2.50 per person (6:00 - 7:00)

Join us for an affordable dinner out with your family and church friends with our "kid friendly" menus, such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips and chicken nuggets. Parents provide desserts and on the first Sunday of the month there is a birthday cake for dessert for all of those celebrating birthdays that month!

This program is a community-wide as well as church-wide program, and our theme is,
“Faith, Family and Friends!"
 

Weekday Nursery School

The Weekday Nursery School is accredited and certified through the Maryland Board of Education and provides instruction in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS), a weeklong teaching ministry during the summer recess, is another popular and well-attended outreach program for schoolchildren. Activities include music, crafts, Bible lessons and discussions. To see some pictures of the 2006 VBS click here.
